Session Process:

The first step is a short phone call, from which we can discuss your concerns, clarify areas of need and consider the best and most appropriate input of support.

Breakdown of input:

• Initial meeting - just for parents to establish clarity on input, meet me and see the space. This meeting is key for understanding your concerns, fomring a clear picture of need and covers historical aspects of the childs background.

• Weekly 45—50 minute sessions, 1:1 with child, at the same time each week. A minimum of 15 sessions is usual.

• Review meetings with parents/carers every 6 - 8 sessions - this is an essential part of the process and informs progress

• Resources, information and advice offered throughout the process

• End report detailing progress, observations and the childs process, alongside any recommendations or further referrals

• Where applicable I can attend meetings with other professionals

• All sessions involve reflections post session, preparation, post session process notes and required regular clinical supervision. Input encompasses far more than just the session itself.
