Services in addition to Play Therapy
A parent-child attachment based programme of Therapy to support and enhance adult-child relationships. Theraplay can also support adoptive/foster parent-child relationships.
When approached in the right way, it is also possible to incorporate the essence of this intervention into staff-child relationships across a school setting i.e. with a TA and child. Ultimately supporting the child’s ability to access the school day.
Assessed and planned group work for children using evidence-based practices. Nurture groups assess learning, social and emotional needs and deliver whatever help is needed to remove the barriers to learning. The structure of these groups allow for selected staff members to train alongside and ultimately then take the lead with these groups.
A one off in person meeting for parents/carers, offering a safe space to create a comprehensive reflection, assessment and overview of your concerns/needs and inclusive of written summary and recommendations.
This is beneficial to anyone feeling stuck with their childs behaviour, facing challenges within the dynamic, uncertainties about the best medium of input or perhaps seeking guidance with behaviour approaches.
